We seek a CFO with a broad range of financial,
human resources, operational and company build-out skills. The CFO must be able to jump into this position and have the ability to grasp many issues immediately, and deal with them appropriately. The CFO will have
the opportunity to direct the financial affairs of the organization and prepare financial analyses of operations, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance of
management. The CFO will be responsible for the companies financial plans and policies, its accounting practices, the conduct of its relationships with lending institutions and the financial community, the
maintenance of its fiscal records, and the preparation of financial reports. The successful candidate will have extensive broad-based financial and accounting experience at a management level in a B2B environment.
Ideally, the candidate would have staffing/personnel experience.
Manage Financial Reporting
Responsible for accounting, preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements, coordinate tax filings, oversee and review preparation of tax returns, quarterly reviews, and annual audit by external auditors,
prepare annual budgets. The CFO will work closely with senior management in strategic planning and achievement of objectives, support and advise management to improve the long and short term performance of the
company.
Manage Banking Relationships
CFO will develop relationships with banks, manage banking affairs and develop sources of capital.
MANAGE INVESTOR RELATIONS PERSONNEL
Develop and
work closely with investor relations personnel responding to their inquiries and requests.
Deal Evaluation
Assist with business development and strategic planning, develop financial models, assist in
various due diligence activities, play an active role as a strategist and supportive team member, provide sound advice and recommendations to achieve desired returns on company assets.
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will have a strong business background, a personal history of success, and a comprehensive understanding of current finance-related best practices. We seek a CPA with 8+ years of experience,
with solid academic credentials (MBA desirable), and strong public and private accounting experience, thorough understanding of state, federal and local taxes. Strong interpersonal skills, diplomacy, and the ability
to establish strong relationships within the Company and externally. Comfortable using administrative and financial software, can produce routine reports and correspondence, speak effectively before investors and
management, able to roll up sleeves and enjoy working in a small business environment. Candidate must be quick witted and sharp, and able to guide company to achievement of goals.
